The main reason clients in Oxfordshire come to me to commission bespoke items is the personal service they receive from start to finish. I project manage every contract, seeing it through from the initial consultation to the final checks after installation or before the item in question has been handed over. If this all takes time, then I’m happy to do it. My goal is to witness the look of sheer delight on my clients’ faces when they see what I’ve produced for the first time.
That’s why Toffee Hammer Carpentry is the growing success it is, and the number of positive testimonials I can share proves it.
The majority of my clients in Oxford, Chipping Norton and the surrounding Oxfordshire areas are domestic homeowners, but I am more than happy to work on commercial projects such as retail fitouts and office suites, as well as within the hospitality industry – as my recent work with Oxfam shows.
Using a range of beautiful timbers, such as ash, birch, mahogany, oak, pine, sapele and walnut, I can design and create a range of handmade furniture uniquely suited to various rooms within the home. These include:
The handmade furniture designed and created by Toffee Hammer Carpentry is done to the exact preferences of my Oxford, Chipping Norton and Oxfordshire clients. They have the opportunity to choose every element from size and style to the choice of timbers and finishes. All products are made with beauty and longevity in mind, without exception.
At present I design and carve a range of serving platters which many of my clients purchase as bespoke gifts. For these items I favour ash, cherry oak, iroko, mahogany and walnut. You can, of course, choose an alternative timber if you prefer.
I am currently planning to increase the variety of unique gifts I design and, at some stage in the future, will develop a range of serving spoons, butter knives and coasters.
The handmade gifts I currently have in stock can be found on my Etsy page.
